Karim Mawji is the Chief Investment Officer of Dentonia Park, a private single family office focused on preserving and growing generational capital. He brings more than 25 years of experience investing across market cycles, asset classes, and leadership regimes, with a disciplined focus on judgment, risk management, and long-term value creation.
Karim began his career managing capital at leading financial institutions, including Morgan Stanley, where he developed an event-driven investment approach that increasingly centered on leadership as a decisive factor in outcomes. That philosophy shaped Dentonia Park’s evolution — from its early years as a hedge fund to its current role as a family office stewarding personal and family wealth.
In 2017, Karim founded Paragon Intel, a financial technology and research firm created to institutionalize leadership analysis for investors. Under his leadership, Paragon Intel became the preeminent provider of leadership-focused investment research, serving many of the world’s leading hedge funds. During this period, Dentonia Park shifted its focus primarily to private investments to maintain clarity of purpose and avoid conflicts.
Today, Karim applies the leadership-driven framework refined over decades to managing family capital — combining deep fundamental analysis with an exacting assessment of executives, boards, and governance. He also serves as Founder and CIO of Eagle Talon Partners, a hedge fund that applies the same philosophy to public markets. Karim engages selectively with other family offices and long-term investors on shared interests in leadership, governance, and capital stewardship.

In 2009, Dentonia Park began as an event-driven hedge fund, blending special situations investing with fundamental research and an early emphasis on leadership as a driver of outcomes.
After several years of strong risk-adjusted performance, we returned external capital and transitioned into a single family office, applying the same discipline to managing personal and family wealth.

In 2017, our Principal founded
Paragon Intel, a financial technology and research firm created to institutionalize leadership analysis for investors. Paragon Intel became the preeminent leadership-focused research platform, serving many of the world’s leading hedge funds.
During this period, Dentonia Park shifted its focus primarily to private investments to maintain clear boundaries and avoid conflicts.
2017
By 2020, our Principal stepped back from day-to-day responsibilities at Paragon Intel while remaining a significant shareholder. He returned to stewarding family capital, applying the leadership-driven framework he refined over a 25-year investing career.
That approach, paired with deep fundamental analysis, later became the foundation for Eagle Talon Partners, a hedge fund applying the same philosophy to public markets.

Today, Dentonia Park operates with a clear mandate: discretion, alignment, and long-term stewardship.
